i can see the emulator on the resources but wheres the game file i dont want to have to go through 65000 dodgy websites to find it

I got mine using google and clicking the first result so. Roms are not that abscure so you're not going to go through "65000 dodgy websites to find it"

little bit offtopic but sometimes antimalware programs are programmed to block such sites to prevent "piracy". so everytime it blocks a site for you it doesnt always have to be a virus/malware flooded site

im confused, is there something specific i need to look up besides ROM? everything i download cant be opened by Gambatte, do i need a specific file type?

If you are playing on gambatte-speedrun, you will need a Game Boy Color bios. Legally, I cannot link you to one, but a simple google search should get you there.

when i search game boy color bios and download the ROM the files wont open in gambatte so thats where im getting confused. do i need a .gb file or something else?

open gambatte + the rom --> settings --> select the bios image you downloaded

im sorry, i thought the bios image could be downloaded from a ROM site. i got one now, thank you for the help
