I kept my promise, almost 2 years later, I never forgot.

It was tough.. as you'd expect. Levels were not made for this. They're all static, though, so if you lock-in with enough free-balling, you can manage any full clear or challenge. Most my run doesn't use strats, and I mainly only rely on strats on the final challenges. There was a niceness of being able to return to the old days before Peggle got stratted to death. But, strats would make some things easier here for sure.

When it comes to what I found difficult, GM stuff was pretty straight forward, and I'd run the GM run back as I could definitely cut a good chunk of time off my blind run. The areas the I made the most mistakes are:

• The Decathlon. trying too hard to double-up full clears and failing, wasting time,
• Tula (Harry Potter) single master duel. AI kept doing absurd shots, and I didn't play well enough.
• A fair bit of clean-up at the end, but mostly being stuck on 2-5, a brutal full clear.
• The 10-ball trial. The 3 limited ball trial challenges are what scarred me in my blind GM run, adding on an hour+ to my time. This time, I came prepared, having made strats with some help from vsoupdotvx. 2-ball and 1-ball went by really well! But 10-ball, the one I practised the most, was very rough and I just fell apart when it came to doing it in a live run. I needed to take my legal break as it was really getting in my head, but after a break, I immediately got it. I was probably just burnt out at that point. So moral, take breaks! But in the end, we made it through, did it all, and EGM is done!!

Would I ever run this again? You know what? Someday. I could see myself wanting to improve on the mistakes I listed above, learn from them, and get a sub-6 hour time maybe. It was tough, it was a bit painful, but it was an interesting, decent challenge. But for now, it's done. I did it, Whiggy!
