I recently got rejected from putting a speedrun on the leaderboard because using superstars at the beginning is banned and I think there should be a category that allows you to do that.

I've always been a fan of doing star runs and I've played quite a few levels with it, but yea stars aren't allowed. That would be an interesting category tbh cause the WRs would be blazing fast.

I would like to see star runs. The idea sounds nice, and I think everyone likes using the star in any NSMB game

Tbh the main reason it isn't allowed is because of how broken it is. WRs would be fucking nuts if it was allowed, especially in NSMBW. Tho I will say it would be sick seeing those runs

Realistically speaking, we're probably not gonna add a star subcategory to the IL boards due to how obnoxious it is to organize the leaderboards because SRC is kinda wack. Plus, I don't think there's enough of a player base for star ILs to warrant adding it to the board. Don't let that stop you from doing star ILs on your own though.
