No-commentary gameplay of Ninja Combat. Set 1. Default settings. Game completed with 1 credit. Played with MamePlus 0.134, no tools, cheats, autofire, or save states were used.
One of the earliest Neo Geo games and quite bad in my opinion. It was released in 1991 by ADK (Alpha Denshi), the same developers from the World Heroes saga.
Graphics are nice, music is ok, but the game is quite orthodox and unplayable in some ways. The hit collision is really bad too. You need to memorize exactly how to deal some situations. I must say that this is a difficult game indeed.
You can pick up to 4 different characters. In my opinion the best is Musashi, but I play with all of them just to show how they are. Gembu is also a pretty good character but he has very short range.
Another thing is that this game is impossible to beat without dying. You will die at least once. The time in the last stage is not enough so it will always kill you. I wasn't killed by the time, but it restarted, so I could complete it.
And well, I didn't play on hardest because Neo Geo games don't allow you to record replay files with the default settings changed. Anyway, the game is more or less the same, the only difference is that most enemies will kill you with one single hit. If you take a look at this gameplay you will notice that I was killed once, and hit 3 different times. This means that I would have beaten the game if the game were in hardest (2 lives would have remained).
Hey y'all.
Instead of "Easy Clear and Easy Clear Co-Op", I've restructured the leaderboards to distinguish beating the game with unl. continues, and 1CC. or 1 Continue Clear. This is done to distinguish skill over fastness, and more importantly, making sure the speedrun is accessible to everyon
