What do we do in this case? That WR was 1 year ago too. His remaining Twitch VODs has one run that is slower than the current 2nd place. I couldn't find anything on youtube.

Is the 2nd place run gonna be the 1st place one? I really really wish I got to see the 1st place run...

Hello :) The WR-video was lost during an incident on Twitch, where many videos on the platform were lost. However, the run was validated before this happened, and thus is still perfectly valid. Hopefully, some time in the future, someone will surpass the WR, causing the loss of this video to be much less of an issue, but until then you'll have to deal with the situation as it is. You can still enjoy the video for 2nd place. I know that the WR-run contained a new skip that was only used in that run, and I am not sure if any of us has any footage of it.

Hi The issue is in fact as was described. The 36:05 time I got last year on February 22nd was livestreamed and was validated at that time. Would you be interested in learning the speedrun, feel free to write to me on Discord.

There is one big new strat that allowed this >1 minute improvement over the 2nd place time, which can be found in this clip:

There are some minor variations in strats as well considering their difficulty. It's an unfortunate issue for everyone that the WR vod isn't there anymore but I hope that alleviated your concern a bit.
