GLOBAL RULE UPDATES, EFFECTIVE 12/11:
- All submissions moving forward must show the character select screen at the start of the run.
- All submissions must have a minimum threshold of 10% for music audio and a minimum video resolution of 540p.
- Gameplay mods may only be used on MODDED run submissions; a comprehensive lists of installed mods must be submitted alongside modded runs, and they may not interfere with other submission rules (e.g. negating sounds/video elements). Sound effect mods may be used on modded runs, as long as they do not overpower the selected musical track.
NEW CATEGORIES ADDED:
- ARTIST% (has several sub-categories oriented around specific artists; must be completed on HARD difficulty or higher).
- Modded Gameplay (several flavors of modded run are now available; see category rules on SR.C for details).
SMALL ADJUSTMENT:
- "Scope" variable added to the challenge run category to indicate whether DLC content was used
Heya folks,
It's been a while since there's been an update to the board, but there's been several important updates to the game which require us to do so. Rules for all impacted categories/characters have been updated accordingly. Here's the TLDR:
- The new elfin BetaGo is banned due to its ability being extremely similar to Game Streamer Neko#ΦωΦ.
- The ORIGINAL DEFAULT SETLIST is now obsolete; we have a new board to account for runs which include the new default tracks called DEFAULT PLAYLIST (CURRENT PATCH). Since all submissions for Muse Dash need to be completed on the most current version of the game, no new submissions will be accepted to the original default setlist board.
- Both CHALLENGE RUN categories have been updated to allow more freedom of playlist; the 11+ run now requires you to complete 50 tracks of your choosing (within that difficulty ranking) and the ?? run now requires you to complete 15 tracks of unconventional ranking systems (e.g. H, ?, or E scoring).
- New Touhou categories will likely be added soon.
Questions? Concerns? Please feel free to reach out to me via the forums here on SR.C or via Discord.
