How would a dlc run go? I guess you'd start with a 100% save from the first game before the first dlc quest or would you just do a normal run + dlc? Anyway thinking of doing a run of it and a 100% run as well
not sure how a just dlc run would work though because you could have varing amounts of resources going into it which would change the speed. would be nice if it was possible though because a shorter run for this game would be nice.
I have tried both main game + DLC runs and DLC only runs.
main game + DLC(Any%): DLC Only(Any%):
I think the main game + DLC run can be established by modifying the timer conditions based on Any%, 100%. When I tried it, I set the timer to end at the moment of the last attack on the Apex Leviathan. (In addition, there is no In-Game Timer, so I think it will be measured in real time)
For the DLC-only run, I agree that it should be based on 100% savefile. Additionally, I think it would be more fair to add the following rules to the savefile.
- Make the resumption point a cave on The Gulf.
- All evolutions are leveled up to tier 5
- All evolutions are removed
By the way, my experience with DLC-only runs is that it doesn't really matter if the based savefile is Any% or 100%. Because Any% is at a disadvantage over 100% in every respect. The only time that Any% might be advantageous is if you choose a strategy that allows you to acquire something from Port Clovis after you get into the DLC. In reality, however, I don't think such a strategy is necessary, since it is possible to clear DLC with a minimum of DLC content.
