You can only get an achievement once. When you complete it again after, you earn nothing, because you already have it.
So what about the 100% run? Is it okay to complete the achievements without actually receiving them because you already have it? Doesn't it feel a bit useless? (like the S.O.S one or the "Choice and Consequences" one for example, which just feel like a free time-loss if already earned...)
I probably already know the answer to this, but I felt like it needed to be pointed out.
There's a way to erase achievements on Steam, but for Consoles, I am not sure. You bring up a great point, and I have a feeling more research will be needed for this before we can really count it as an official category.
EDIT: We're working on a possible solution for Console. Achievement Remover will be used for Steam.
I would really like for there to be an 100% category and as far as I'm concerned the only true way to 100% Layers of Fear 2 is to acquire every single achievement and trophy in the game. Since Layers of Fear 2 has only been released digitally this makes it awkward. We could make it so that if you are on console the trophies don't actually have to be EARNED, but the criteria of the trophy must still be met; but this would also make them very awkward to verify. Will definitely have to think this one through.
so did you guys come up with a consensus? Recently got this game off epic and wanted to run 100% but don't want to waste my time making a route only to find out I didn't need to figure out how to erase my achievements.
Also, now that I reread my comment... the epic launch version doesn't even have these achievments. lol...
Yeah I think the 100% would be quite pointless honestly, because achievements would be hard to track especially for moderators, and also EPIC, sooo I guess better go for All Collectibles or something haha ^^
I am removing the 100% category from the leaderboards later today.
The game only being released digitally means the only way to re-do trophies and achievements is on Steam. Consoles and Epic users cannot do this.
All Endings and All Collectibles will remain on the boards.
Hello everyone,
As you may know, Layers of Fear 2 is heavily influenced by the framerate. For a while, I played at 60fps, which limited the game's speedrun potential. This is why I am writing this to let anyone willing to run this game know the correct way to play.
In the game's settings, sele
