After dying twice in Act 1, you'll immediately be offered a totem. The sigil offered only picks from sigils that have either been explained by Leshy (ex: the Wolf Cub's 1-turn buff sigil, and the Flying sigil), or that have been played/activated by you. (Ex: killing a Cockroach, sacrificing the Blood Goat, playing the Ant Queen, playing Stink Bug, etc.) With this in mind, it's possible to guarantee what totem you get for your run.
Note to get the best chance of the totem you want, you should avoid playing any cards that have other sigils you don't want (ex. Stinkbug, the Frog, etc.)
- Blood Goat sigil (when you sacrifice a card with this sigil, it counts for 3 blood instead of 1): Definitely the best sigil for speedruns due to being able to easily OTK with high-blood cards, but also somewhat risky if you don't get good card choices.
On your 2nd life, before losing the first battle, use the Squirrel-in-a-bottle and pliers to free up your item slots. Then at the backpack event, pick a Blood Goat if you're offered it. Then in the next battle, play the Blood Goat and sacrifice it before losing.
- Unkillable (when this card dies, it returns to your hand). Good value, but usually not able to OTK reliably. You'll need at least one or two extra turns to get an extra squirrel to crank out 2-3 blood cost cards. Can also use Squirrels to block damage for free.
On your 2nd life, before losing the first battle, use the Squirrel-in-a-bottle and pliers to free up your item slots. The first card offering will always offer a Cockroach on the rightmost card. Then take the 4-bone piggy bank if you're offered it at the backpack event, otherwise take squirrels. Then play the Cockroach in the next battle before losing, and be sure to kill it (either sacrifice it or let an enemy kill it).
- Ant Spawner (when you play this card, an Ant Worker is added to your hand). The least RNG option, makes it possible to win just by drawing squirrels.
On your 2nd life, take the Ant cards from the top-right cabinet panel puzzle before the 2nd battle. Then play the Ant Queen during the battle.
- Unlimited Sacrifice (when you sacrifice this card, it doesn't perish). Usually just a more awkward and less flexible Unkillable. Pick the cat at your first card option, play it in the next battle and try to sacrifice it at least once.

We decided to separate the Unrestricted leaderboard for fairness. Doorbreaker Skip as a new powerful glitch, is only available in the Console version, and allows you to skip Act 1.
