One of my favorite childhood games, played it again recently for old times sake, decided to try to speedrun it. Finally got a decent time, mask hunt takes a surprising amount of skill (and luck).

Im pretty sure theres a slightly "better" route, to help with some of the earlier tournaments, and commander king muscle. The idea would be to unlock the slow, easy to pin, characters like Poseidon and Vance McMadd before you start robin/kid muscle tournament. But... the starting characters are good enough IMO.

I start off the run by unlocking the characters I need for mask hunt and rogue shogun. I use rogue shogun to complete survival quickly, and when im done with survival i have every character unlocked for mask hunt EXCEPT for grandpa. You need 300 toys to unlock him, during mask hunt.

Heres the route:

1. Win the Tournament Mode with Kid Muscle

• unlock shivano

2. Win the Tournament Mode with Robin Mask

• unlock neptune man

3. Team battle: ramen, beetle, robin, neptune, king muscle. Win lose win lose

• unlock commander king muscle

5. Collect 100 Figures

• unlock sunshine sup

6. Win the Tag Tournament Mode with King Muscle and Lomeinman

• unlock prince lou ow

7. Win the Tag Tournament Mode with King Muscle and Prince Lou Ow

• unlock black hole & lord wrangler

7. Collect 200 Figures, then beat the Tournament Mode with Kevin Mask

• unlock big budo

8. Beat tag team with big budo and neptune

• unlock poseidon & starface

9. Tag tournament with shivano & sunshine sup

• unlock rouge shogun

10. 10 wins in survival

• unlock lord muscle, turbinski, and vance mcmadd

11. Complete the Mask Hunt mode
12. complete toy collection by finishing 5 tournaments
