Game dev, new to the community.
Hey everyone. I'm a solo game dev working with rpgmaker and I've released a retro rpg with time management quests. I'm interested in insight about what speed runners are looking for in their games. I've watched a few speedruns for action and rpg games but I've never done one myself. I'd like to update my own game to be supportive of this community. Thanks for reading. any advice would be great!
If you want to update your own game "to be supportive of this community", all I can suggest is adding an optional speedrun timer that doesn't count load times--games like Celeste have that very option, and it just makes timing more convenient. Other than that, welcome to the site.
