My gameboy recently died this is one of my favorite games to speed run but I can no longer run it on the original hardware. Can I use an emulator?

the rules for this speedrun say "It is recommended to use BGB, Gambatte or BizHawk." VGA is banned ^^

so if you use one of these emulators stated above there shouldnt be a problem :)
