As mentioned during the run, my first attempt at playing this game lead me to believe that the silly headbutt move was the way to go. I decided on a whim to do a second run and apply Super Double Dragon logic, where jump kicking is often slower because the knockdowns aren't doing as much damage, to see if that was faster. Six minutes faster, in fact.

I wonder if it could be worth it to buy a weapon on one of the stages, but deaths are so rampant here that I suspect you'd be more likely to just lose your item AND run out of continues as a result.

This is currently my least favorite Double Dragon.
