I just want to know when I need to stop my time... I read somewhere that you can do the time E1M1 to E1M7... You can just beat the bosses and your official time is the final time of E1M7.

If I choose E1M1 to E1M8, when exactly did I stop my time?

A) After I kill the 2 bosses; B ) After I enter the portal; C) After I died (post-portal)?

If you're doing E1M1-M8, which is standard here, you're looking at the total end-screen time after E1M8 ends (After entering and 'dying' to the damaging floor). E1M1-M7, you'd be looking at the total end-screen time after finishing the 7th map, prior to the final level starting.

Ps: was not easy to calculate because M8's doesn't have the final screen on my version (Chocolate)

Strongly recommend using Crispy Doom a try, since it's based on the code base of Chocolate Doom, but has been improved ever since.
