My Bone Location Notes

[The below notes are a bit rough and I don't get all of them and there's not really any timing notes, but wanted to put them here for transparency.] (all areas have 50 purple scents but I assume that would be slow as it only gets you 1 bone?) (SOV = Smell-O-Vision)

=== Clarksville - Farmhouse (9)===

in the ground near the top of the hill while you're following the kid (need to check you can get it there) [seen in SOV]
kid gives you a bone after following him about (this is kinda slow though)
basketball at the barn near the house where you start (need to get 3 hoops, not too long) [THIS SEEMS TO GIVE YOU MORE THAN 1 BONE IF YOU EXIT AND COME BACK FROM THE AREA?]
bone inside the barn on the top (quick)
old man you need to bark awake at house with kid ("long" cutscene but easy)
collect 8 green scents around the back of the white house, then do the short race to gain control of the other dog and go inside the house
8 yellows around horse enclosure to do peeing game, bone spawns at dog house nearby
collecting all the guitar dudes batteries (eh)

=== Clarksville - Watermill (8) ===

8 orange scents on small island in the water starts tug-o-war with dalmation (>4 bones to win?), then you get control of him, can use him to get the bone on the middle island from the bird
top of the cave behind the waterfall (takes a while to walk up there though)
buried on the small island in the water [seen in SOV]
find the axe for the dude up the hill, takes a minute or two.
rocket scientist (like the guitar dude above, eh, but he does give you 2 bones?)
8 pinks on the small island, catch the dog

=== Clarkville - Big Field (8) ===

sergeant dude in the farm field bit, bark while he puts up the scarecrow, quite quick
in the farm field near where the one above ends
near a rock at the back of the field close to the one above
right near the one above on the other side of the rock
12 blue scent trail (jumping over the fence), 1st one near the entrance to the farm field, spawns a bone at the dog house nearby
8 yellow scents in the farm field too, do the peeing game (annoying)
8 cyan for digging challenge
rounding up sheep (eh)

=== Clarksville - Chicken Farm (8) ===

under bin behind truck near the chicken farm, near the start [seen in SOV]
on the truck itself
buried near the orange scents (see below) [seen in SOV]
12 blue scent trail (starts on top of chicken coop), gets you a bone at the doghouse which is right next to where you ends, takes 1 minute if that
talk to the dude and catch the fox (not too hard if you know his cycle and cut him off)
(triggered after above one) 8 oranges near the back to start tug-o-war, (>5 to win?), you get control of other dog, it warps up back to the pick up truck, then you go inside of the chicken coop(s) and pick up the paper
8 pinks around the trees near the chicken coops, easy tag against other dog

=== Clarksville - Village Houses (9) ===

find doll inside pipe in play park and chuck it in the pram nearby (no need to talk to women beforehand)
12 violet scents, around the play park and the houses nearby, spawns a bone at the dog house across the road
trap dog near end of the street in the garage and talk to the mailman
buried in the ground at the house above [seen in SOV]
8 green scents around the back of the house above, then do the race with the other dog and after use him to go inside the greenhouse nearby
use the small dog from above to grab note in play park (no need to watch cutscene) and take it to the women at the front of the 2nd house on the right
under a trash can behind a house, 2nd one on the left when you walk in
8 cyan cents near the greenhouse, do digging challenge

=== Clarksville - Centre (7) ===

go behind butchers shop, buried [seen in SOV]
same as above but under a trash can nearby
get egg from behind butchers shop, take it to children opposite his and then go inside his shop and get bone. let him catch you and then escape the dog catcher's dog which is needed for later
8 orange scents (behind the butchers shop and nearby out the front), get control of the other tog after tug-o-war and then walk in the shop near the kids
12 violet scents, start behind butchers and go out near the roundabouts, spawns a bone at the doghouse behind the shop up the stairs
8 green scents near the small tree roundabout to do a race to get another bone at your doghouse

=== Lake Minniwahwah - Cafe (9) === [somehow my book shows me having 7 on this area but I only have 6 noted here that I got, I did get caught by the dog catcher and had to find the bone I used to bribe him, but I didn't think that would count?]

coat for the snowman for the girl, which leads into the dog catcher chase (same as Any%, need to go to the ski slope)
under a trash can near the cafe
buried behind cafe
up a hill behind cafe
12 violet scents on the ice spawns a bone at the dog house (this is annoying because of ice physics)
8 cyan scents in car park and cafe area to do digging challenge, get control of other dog, bark at pidgeons in cafe area, follow and bark a lot until win
8 greens near the back of the icy area, to do race against other dog, this one is REALLY annoying because it's on ice too, I wouldn't recommend

=== Lake Minniwahwah - Ski Slope (7) ===

buried near parking lot, near the kids fighting with snowballs
hit purple scented kid with snowballs 3 times
in the hut at the top of the slope, quite far

=== Lake Minniwahwah - High Street (8) ===

inside the building near the cable car
buried nearby cable car cabin [seen in SOV]
12 violets starting near the back of the giant snowy plain, kinda annoying to find them all, they're around that area, a few on the road area and some around the small house nearby, spawns bone at dog house nearby
up ramp at big building, under trash can
take bird feeder from nearby and go on the cable car to mountain top and throw it near the antenna, then go back to the dude in the house near the entrance to this area who is using the radio
8 cyans behind buildings to left when you come in, digging challenge, get control of other dog, go on top of big building and grab the RC heli
8 yellow scents, near last scents, peeing game

=== Lake Minniwahwah - Hotel (8) ===

buried up hill, left when you enter level, near tree [seen in SOV]
one nearby but down the bottom of the hill next to the hotel
12 blues, start around the back of the hotel, turn back around and go up the hill again and loop around the hotel, bone spawns at doghouse
under trash can behind church
wig collectathon (eh)

=== Lake Minniwahwah - Mountain Top (8) ===

save dude stuck in nearby hut after going up on the cable car
behind antenna (should be got while doing quest from High Street)
12 blue scents on the way down from the antenna (really easy) (see above for timing) [NOT A BONE BUT IMPORTANT: 8 pinks nearby after the last one, then catch the other dog (really easy) then use other dog when needed to pull tree over bridge to get to next area]
buried across the bridge [seen in SOV]
down broken tree nearby
cable cab operator for bringing him helmet from Mountain Side (see below)

=== Lake Minniwahwah - Mountain Side (7) ===

go up where bolders come from, then hang right and one is buried nearby [seen in SOV]
go up some more and one is around the cut down tree trunks
buried near last one
go up some more where the bolders come from, buried in the next area
up even more to the stranded climber, one next to him [NOT A BONE BUT IMPORTANT: 8 orange scents for tug-o-war, use this dog to get helmet from stranded guy to take back to cable cab operator in Mountain Top (death warp using the big bolders to be faster)]

=== Boom City - Station (7) ===

buried in a garden nearby just after getting off the train to your left
go up fire escape and go to the left, in a room at the end
12 blue scents - go up fire escape, get 1st and go back down and follow for nearby bone spawn

=== Boom City - Park (7) ===

behind ice cream stall in park
music paper for dude in park: 2 near statue, 1 behind tree near ice cream stall, 1 in house garden opposite where the statue is, 1 on the bush near the dude surrounding the park.
buried near the guitar player
near dog pound entrance under trash can
8 pink scents in the middle of the park and then catch the dog to get a bone (or you might need to also do the digging challenge by getting 8 cyans, not sure
control other dog and pick up 5 cats and put them inside woman's house nearby (they're all close although it's annoying when they wonder out on their own, but they're slow) [NOT A BONE BUT IMPORTANT: trigger dog catcher, run away from dog, use the walls to help get away]

=== Boom City - Centre (7) ===

12 violets, go up lift on the left as you enter, then get the 1st and go around the area and on other lifts to find the rest (one is behind a breakable wooden fence)
talk to dude out front of cafe, go inside cafe, run away from dog catcher, go back inside and go to back room, pick up cards
parking lot of cafe nearby last one
trashcan at the end of an alley/road kinda straight ahead of where you come in this area
8 orange scents near the last bone, do tug-o-war to get control of dog, use him to lead bandit away from his swag bag by barking and walking around, then run up top and get the bag
8 green scents start near breakable fence, do race with other dog
