Glad to see some people have interest in running this game again. already Tristin has beat my Atlanta record and I assume he will break more.
I'm sorry Tristin, gotta do what I gotta do. fun to have some competition though.
Seeing the boards active makes me want to try and race other tracks. Since I was only good at racing at Dirt: Eagan ;p
I think the handling is different on emulator than on actual hardware. The cars are extremely loose on Ps2 hardware where it seems like on emulator it's tighter
I have the og copy on my old ps2 and it doesn't feel different for me. however, its been over a year since I played it on my ps2
Could be the setups I'm running maybe, it just feels stupidly loose on superspeedways-- like impossible to fix loose
there may be some slight handling differences but for the most part they are the same
all of my runs were done on pcsx2, some of which are still standing so its not like emulators are slower
It's more of the fact that the car feels so loose on superspeedways with a PS2 controller. However, after fixing the setup, the car feels drivable
Great news! Full-game runs are now available on the board. Currently only Career and Season are set up; if there is any interest in a few miscellaneous categories for Beat the Heat or Pro Trainer, those will be added as well. Be sure to read the category rules before submitting any runs.
