my gr8 8track was rejected because it needed to be first place. i suicided as it was faster to end the level. i got 1 star and the game counts it as a win.
the rules state you need to record before the level and then timing begins at the play button and at the end of the event screen.
the run follows every rule. please update the rulesets for the additional requirement of needing 3 stars not 1.
effectively you are treating these as 100% runs not Any% runs. you need to state that in the rules, as the approaches are vastly different. if you dont want glitches as well. maybe state that upfront as well.
all runs are 100% (need 3 stars) and glitchless (must play normal).
dont care how u want to do it. but u need to state it is 100% not any%
this is an ambigious rule change after the fact and the rules have not been updated to reflect.
please update the rules or approve the run.
also a note: it only works on this map and maybe 2 other early maps, as it only has 3 racers. you cant lose. cause you always will get 3rd if you get last or 1 star.
hey i just found out you can "retire" in a DERBY. it will grant you the last place of the remaining cars. I accidently pressed RETIRE after destroying one car, 2 were remaining (2/3 bots, 2/4 with me). So i won the DERBY with 3rd place (3rd / 4 cars) (1 star, win). Can we BAN runs (make it a rule) that RETIRE, because it takes no skill and that all runs for this game and for BUS DERBY game would be too easy to beat by Retiring (for Full game and for individual levels any%) What do you think ? I think we should avoid RETIRE button and state it in rules
