No umbrella strats were used, thankfully. I had some pretty good luck with the DMW against Machine Trio and reached to level 9 when I usually only get to level 8. I also used a slightly different materia fusion combination before Angeal Penance to give me +2 extra Magic. Thundaga leveled up, making the run a little bit easier.

I didn't execute as well on Genesis I due to zoning out for a second. Other than that and a few mishaps, this was a pretty solid run.

Sub 5:39 would be possible with a better Genesis I fight, better G Predator and G Slayer fight, and getting into encounters faster before the waterfall mini-game.
