I found the 2004-2005 demos (they're kind of horrible compared to the 2024 demo, but they're still runnable and playable). Categories were added (the 2004 demo with subcategories for different modes, since pressing F2 plays one part, and pressing F3 on the ship has endings for both). - (the 2005 demo with subcategories F1, which is the ship part and is the one before F2, which starts inside the enemy ship).

In the 2004 demo in F2, it ends when Mission Complete appears. And in F3, it ends when you destroy the last of the two enemy ships.

In the 2005 demo in F1 it ends when you destroy the last of the 2 enemy ships and in F2 it ends with the last hit on the boss.
