IT IS TIME FOR CRAB -- THE LEADERBOARDS ARE NOW OPEN!

We've been watching the community as the run develops over the past week and despite calling it Restricted it is clear people are enjoying this as the glitches-allowed run; we've kept UR quarantining certain centralizing things it seems people do not want to be running with, but keep letting us know and running what is fun and we will work (with the devs, even?) to make sure anyone can run the ACT they want to run.

Additionally, you can now find the automashing script, complete with instructions on how to use and display in OBS, up in the "Resources" section of our SRC page! Thank you to everyone who helped test it, and to the Death's Door speedrunning community for the codebase.

In the next few days, we'll be consolidating route documents, putting together a downpatch guide for Unrestricted runners who want infinite grapple shenanigans, and taking on new verifiers (Join our Discord, linked above, if you'reinterested in applying)! But for now, all of that will take a back seat to letting the initial flurry of speedruns happen.

It's come to my attention that not everyone is going to be in the discord server, so here is some information as to what is happening with the boards:

We are currently waiting at least a week (May 2nd) before putting boards up. This will give time for routing, trick finding, and tool development. If you would like to take part in all of this, please use the discord link found at the top of the SRC page near the title of the game. We will be starting out with these categories:

• Any%, which would not allow assist options, but all glitches are a go.

• Assist Mode, which would be Any% but assist options are allowed MINUS the gun.

• Gun%, where all assist options are allowed. Voting on whether to make it so you have to only use the gun or not will commence Around when the boards will go up.

Quacksilver has also put together a spreadsheet that will serve as a place to put category extension / pre-SRC board runs. If you have a silly idea for a run and run it, you can put it there!
