This was my last run I had time for before I had to get ready and go to work. I'd grinded for hours with no luck but knew I needed to make this run count. And it did, that's a really nice world record! Funny the run starts with me being quite negative that I'm just going to fail again.

Before this, I was world record holder by default with a pretty rubbish time since my run was the proof-of-concept for an Extreme EGM category. Had been waiting quite a while for somebody to finally beat my time. HeliosWx was able to do it with a pretty clean run during his Extreme sweep and faussepassserby was able to get an even cleaner run to beat that. It was my time to try.

What held the run back in grinding was the difficulty of doing 2-2 and 2-3, as every other level has a solid amount of strats from faussepasserby, HeliosWx and myself (funnily enough, the only 3 people in this category currently). Doing those 2 levels after doing everything else quick and flawless and then having to redo everything over and over for another quick and flawless run makes this quite tough to grind. But managed it! Fun to have an exactly 18:00 time.
