We've replied, we've given adequate reasons for rejecting your runs and how to improve them. Sound isn't required, but choppy looking recordings without sound are easy as hell to splice, this combined with the fact that you have no timer and don't stream, and also have no history as a speedrunner, come together to make a very suspicious run. Your most recent submission was exactly the same run as the last, but with a few seconds of footage before and after the run. It was still a choppy recording, there was still no sound, and thus it once again got rejected.
Also, considering it is exactly the same run, how did you manage to time it to be 2 seconds faster than the previous recording?
I did, I thought you'd reused footage from your last run in the new one, didn't realise they were the same pb (because they had different times). I deleted the thread when I realised my mistake, about 3 minutes later.
FYI choppy video means that the frame rate is low\ frames are skipped.
Shouldnt be a problem in retiming that footage, although it was low framerate, it wasnt so low that it makes his time wildly inaccurate (the youtube stats thing said it was around 15 fps, which should be doable for a small speedgame like this). Just from viewing it in the youtube player it looks to be about a 3:05, so just retime it and accept it. Nobody can really call cheating unless adequate proof is found, and that footage looked real enough for me.
We are requiring future runs from him to have game audio, that's the main issue here. A splice is too easy to hide in a silent 15fps video. His first submitted run was 3rd place, labeled WR for some reason, and he had no speedrunning history. We are skeptical of this user for good reason.
Sorry about that IrreversibleNinja but just edit a bit your recording settings to add audio and this will be good ;) No audio = Easy to spice and possibly a TAS. You are improving yourself very fastly (n3 after 2 days is very good) so you shouldn't wait a lot of time before your next pb.
"I'm labeling them world record because it help a channel with 15 subs get out a little more." Horrible reason to speedrun, and even more incentive to show off a fake run.
"Me saying that "two days" thing was bullshit (to sound better) I have been speed running it for weeks, have over 2,000 attempts, and 27 hours on the game." Prove this, show us your splits. How are you resetting so quick?
"2) you can't just say rerun it, it is in 3rd place I can't even match much less beat that, and my 200 year old computer just broke.(great timing right?)" I don't believe you.
just so you guys know, he spliced a run of super blue boy planet, your suspicions are confirmed
