Ok ,i didn't see an good answere. Do you already downloaded the timer? Most people use the Timer called "Live Split". You have the splits , timer and much more. To record it you need an Programm. I recomand using OBS studio. The two programms are OBS and X-Split. You should watch an tutorial for OBS to get the right settings. These are the important things.

You can use Xsplit , but obs is a way mutch better. You also can use software like aktion or fraps , but obs is the best to record and stream

You can easily do new splits , and than use that :-) its the easyest methode
