Can someone add IGT to my Classic Hard (Ganondorf)? I calculated 60-53.84 + 60 - 49.74 + 60 - 59.71 + 60 - 44.89 + 60 - 59.32 + 60 - 58.24 + 60 - 34.58 + 120 - 43.24 + 54 - 52.71 + 60 - 50.79 + 60 - 44.68 + 59.99 - 33.32

When streaming and you disconnect, there is a popup that tells "reconnecting in 10 sec", accompanied with a short sound effect.
I don't want that popup to appear in my recording and I don't want the sound effect. Is there a way to make it run in the background and mute?
(that isn't to say I'm going to do any livestream in the future, but just for future reference .....)
I fixed my issue by adjusting my css slightly.
.broadcaster became .broadcaster-1, .moderator became .moderator-1, etc. for some reason...
Problem solved :)
in obs chat plugin, the chat badges don't show my custom icons anymore. Maybe the css code changed after twitch changed their layout. Help?
Anyone have a list of badge css classes?
I'm kind of looking for players that stream speedruns of the new dishonored
Play the game a lot. Try to improve your time over and over
Why is 1.8.0 not allowed? You talking about vba?
I don't know if the emulation in vba with this game is correct but it would probably be wise to just get vba v24 svn480 (vba 24m) or Bizhawk 1.11.7-mgba core. Please consider the best and most console-accurate emulation before anything else.
downloads: http://adelikat.tasvideos.org/emulatordownloads/vba-rerecording/vba-v24m-svn-r480.7z https://github.com/TASVideos/BizHawk/releases/download/1.11.7/BizHawk-1.11.7.zip for bizhawk, you need the gba bios. Google it and put it in the firmware folder.
Only Bizhawk with mGBA-core emulates the action command glitch (that includes sign glitch) correctly. VBA, VBA-rr and VBA-m emulate it incorrectly so the same ID is a different command etc.
The standalone mGBA might be viable for speedrunning, but it may have its own little problems such as input lag. I recommend Bizhawk with the mGBA-core instead.
Otherwise, go on console.
You can tell what you were trying to do exactly.
Btw, I would think the glitch is unforgiving to do for new runners. If you can manage it then ok, but you may want to do glitchless (which is a very unpopular category for some reason but I'd like to see it).
the time needs to be converted. Other than that, you need to get word from one of the moderators if it's allowed for this game or not.
So there was a page somewhere I wrote that linked to someone's speedrun.com profile. But that user changed his name so the URL became invalid.
It would be cool if old names redirected to new names, or the URLs use user IDs instead of names.
Also, the thing in my previous post hasn't been addressed yet. I can still not cancel the editing process.
There seems to be a bug on the dbzlog leaderboard. http://www.speedrun.com/dbzlog/thread/bmt7i/1#a87ms
ultrauberness put RyuLetsPlay's run (all quests), but it displays his name instead of Ryu's.
I didn't say that we ban all emulators. But I want bad emulators banned. (Btw, there are many games even smaller than dbzlog and they do all care about good emulation and ban bad emulation.)
Why should we care about speedrunslive's race rules? When a few players want to race the game over speedrunslive, I can see it makes sense they all use the same emulator, whether it is VBA or something else. But when it comes to those runs counting for anything, I urge everyone to use the most console-accurate emulation there is available. New runs made on VBA with the bad timing/lag emulation shouldn't be accepted anymore. Unless you don't care about console accurate speedrunning on this leaderboard. I hope that you do.
I think it would be best to keep the current emu runs on the leaderboard, maybe edit in a note for each run saying which emu the run used, but reject future VBA submissions. We aren't being unfair to those new submissions. We are being just, and it's up to the speedrunners to educate themselves about the current rules.
That Ryu thing sounds like a site bug. Might want to report that to speedrun.com staff.
When editing my post on a leaderboard subforum, there was the option to Save it. But there was no option to Cancel it...
Just try to have people run the game on bizhawk w/ mgba core in the future. Many other games (e.g. SML2) actually ban emulators that emulate lag behavior/timing incorrectly, so you might consider doing it likewise.
Also your name is on Ryu's all quest run on the leaderboard, which if I didn't know better looks like you have accomplished that run. That's something you may want to discuss with speedrun.com forum so that Ryu's name is on the run, not yours. As far as I know, you can actually submit other people's runs and put their name and then select the 2nd option in the dropdown menu as such:
Player 1: RyuLetsPlay
You Are:
- " "
- "player 1"
I really don't know for sure, but there might be a chance that this minigame is based on randomness (how long the tracks are). I might look into it
this game doesn't really offer much to make 100% worthwhile. I think anything you could do 100% wise is really annoying. It seems the same way in Earthbound. In that game they do things like "Any% + all photos". And we already have something like "Any% + all bosses".
What about "Any% + all coffee items"? Altabiscuit ran that at some point. "Any% + 1 of each item" and "Any% + all bros moves" sound silly and insignificant...
Ideas for 100%:
All rope jumping minigame levels? All mine cart minigame levels?
If you're going for all equipables and items, you will probably want to make it so that you have to have all items on hand at the end of the run. You cannot obtain an item and then use it and not have it anymore at the end. But that shouldn't be a problem.
All hidden mole guys? You know, the ones that give you prizes.
All side quests <-- find 10 gems in the bean town (required for Bros Rock anyway), win surf minigame, etc. I can't think of more actually.
All coffee items are a must.
I think SMAS+SMW is Japanese only. So there may be problems with the accessibilty.
you could probably add a leaderboard for the special edition game. I haven't played it yet and there is no run for it I think. But I'm just saying you could.
