I also think this would be a great idea! Being able to just do sections for runs would really help add some variety and might even bring more people to start running this game.

Sorry I missed this before. I've been really busy lately and I thought it would send me an email every time a forum post was posted (it obviously doesn't, though). I think your timing methods are a lot better. Thank you for your input. Picking up the key sounds like a way better option since, like you said, it triggers the credits.

Also, there is a cheat menu where you can add invincibility, give yourself every item, etc. You can find it in the Secrets section on the walkthrough (https://github.com/hawkthorne/hawkthorne-journey/wiki/Walkthrough).
