Ideally I think all of the Broken Sword games need to be added into the Broken Sword series. I've asked about this a couple of times but no dice yet. But I think Directors Cut should stay a different game, but if it was added to the series page, at least then people know it's there. That and 3 and 4 are missing.
Hey guys, the link is expired. You might want to re-add it and ensure it doesn't expire.
Hey there,
Just submitting my run for All Ribbons, which is the equivalent to 100% in this game. It's 475 total Ribbons from all events.
There's a tracker of all the ribbons here and I showed the total on my run at the very end: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1AOGCqyL3Ayu2ehu4q2o4tsP9EtOtvyn2ipzeR02UulA/edit?usp=sharing
Run is here:

Hi there!
I'm thinking we should create some level leaderboards.
I've already got a couple of runs for the timed levels:
Mary-Kate and Ashley Winners Circle - Level Speedrun - Free Ride - Forest World [07:43]
Mary-Kate and Ashley Winners Circle - Level Speedrun - Free Ride - Island World [09:28]
You could probably have level leardboards for pretty much everything... but there's certain ones that actually tell you the in game time as well, such as the above (though I timed those ones with RTA).
I'm planning to do level runs for all the horse shoe levels (3 difficulties in island and 3 in forest) and also for the time trial levels. Probably each of the cross country levels in the different circles as well. Good way to practice for the beat the game run.
When I do my 100% run I might cut things down from it to form all the level times and post those here as well.
Just a heads up, noticed the release year is 2021 for this but should eb 2003.
Great job on the run!
I've created a new run, the gist is, buy all the items in the shop.
Run starts on new career in the main menu and ends when you purchase the last item in the shop.
The vod may have some issues, so I'll also upload the youtube video.
Hey Jesse! I've been working on some routing!
I'm thinking I might actually go with:
*All Items - This seems like an interesting one, because you have to choose the right events to get the fastest route to get 333 ribbons, which is the number required to buy all items in the shop. Starts on beginning of first event, ends on buying the final item. *All Ribbons - Collect all 541 achievable ribbons from all events. Ends on black screen after ribbons awarded.
All ribbons could be a 100% but I don't think buying the items makes this run anymore interesting and the game doesn't track your percentage. But it does track your ribbons, so I think just ending on the last ribbon makes more sense.
I'm likely going to record these and submit and show you, then can create the categories around it I guess.
I'm still considering Adventure as it's own category, but I'm probably going to run All Items and All Ribbons first.
Thoughts?
Hey there,
I've been digging around in the game a bit more after doing more "Beat the Game" runs. Had some ideas on expanding what categories exist already.
Couple of ideas:
- Change the current main category to be called "3 Day Event" - It is the main part of the game, but if we add other categories, it makes more sense to make the name specific to the category content.
- Add in Adventure as a category - this would involve beating Horse Trials and Horse Shoes back to back. Alternatively, we could add Horse Trials and Horse Shoes as their own categories. Horse Trials has two levels, Forest World and Island World, Horse Shoes has the same levels, but as easy, medium and hard difficulties. So however we structure it, completion would be all of the difficulties, to complete Horse Shoes.
- Individual Level Leaderboard - Could have this for stuff in 3 day event but also the individual levels in horse trials/horse shoes.
I can do some trial runs as an example if it helps.. Thanks!
