I will also leave this video here by the devs. With the new update the relics are shown before the "timer" would really start, and also it will show during the pause menu which relics are active. There's also cutscene skip added to the game which is new.

Hi everyone, I have no idea if anyone will see this, but I'm interested in running a few categories in this game, but the Dawn of the Equinox update has dont a few things, such as added a speedrunning relic as well as difficulty settings (story/ adventure/ hard). I'd love to do some runs but obviously I have no idea if there's a discord or a better place to discuss all this and how it affects the current leaderboards and which category i would be submitting to. for example, if wanted to do new game + no relics, there's only 1 run done with no difficulty option, so i dont know if i should choose normal by default or go story or what. Any feedback or information would be greatly appreciated, i know the speedrunning community isnt huge but maybe this post can spark the conversation so we can try to get stuff going

Hey Konception, what system were you playing this one? I notice that little gameboy pak menu think on the bottom right where the cutscene should have loaded, do you suppose that has something to do with it?
