I've got time trials to replace all my times in the base Wipeout 3 now so if we wanted that to be a time trial board that would be easy to do.

Wipeout 3 Special Edition on the other hand might be a bit harder to do that with - I've tried a few time trials to beat my current single race times but honestly I don't think it would be possible for me to beat a lot of those times in time trial so as it stands there would be a mix. Now I personally don't mind if single race & time trial are mixed on the same board as they are now, or whether they would be split into two boards, but I think I'd have trouble beating my single race times in Special Edition in order to do the same with that board.

I don't have much knowledge about alternative platforms but I'd be up for joining a discord. Sounds like a good idea to me.

Possibly one for the mods to confirm but I would assume that recorded runs would be fine. I think the majority are currently streams just because that's more convenient for those that are able to, but I see no reason why a recorded run would be disqualified so long as it wasn't edited.

That's a fair question actually and could apply for Special Edition too. I'd probably prefer single race and time trial be separate but it makes sense to me that time trial be included somewhere, as it would take away the randomness from the other racers and item pickups, leaving it down to pure racing rather than luck. I do personally prefer playing on single race but if time trial was added I would post times in that category too.
