As discussed in the Discord, with the release of 0.8.3 adding new campaign content and making a big change to the speed lich build we have wiped the leaderboards. The old boards still exist in the misc category, labelled "Pre 0.8.3".

The main thing Acolyte has going for it is the trash clearing and therefore exp gain being fast and the required skills being available really early on. There are a bunch of builds with various classes that you can brute force your way through most of the content with pretty fast but you need your single target damage output to be good enough to not be chipping away at later bosses for like 5 minutes (or more) each, particularly Liath who honestly is the main challenge in the entire run and happens to be in the last few minutes of it. I just haven't been able to match that with another class. I've recently been looking at Sentinel which I think could be viable - it certainly has the movement speed from shield rush - but I still need to figure out exactly what to do with other skills. Also mage with glacier, teleport, flame ward and mana strike has potential but again falls down a bit on dps. This isn't to say these other builds aren't good or that they can't go fast, it's just that the Lich build has so many things going for it. I've been working on a run in 0.8D and was just wondering if anyone else is currently running this game? Current PB is 2:48:55 but it's a really sloppy run so I want to get a better one before I submit anything. I'm working on a guide that I'm happy to share and I'm keen to get some discussions going about Last Epoch speed runs!
