Just a thought. Turning while shifting forces you to go in an arc, and otherwise you will lose speed upon completing the turn. A sideways shift seems to maintain your momentum during the turn.

I'm starting to think it might be worth taking quickturn before skill roll.
You can use it to one-shot the guards in mission 2, and there's some pretty valuable skips in mission 4, even in new game.
I've also got two shorter videos showcasing quickturns I haven't seen used in mission 5 and gridnode run.

You can load previous missions and then abort them immediately after they start in order to appear where that mission started. Does this seem like rule-breaking, or is it fair game?
