I wanna know about your experiences about livesplit, timing and something else. I'm programming Final Fight 3 Autosplitter room by room, then knowing about the community needs i can help you do better runs. in fact my autosplitter works perfectly with many of most famous emulators (like bizhawk, BSnes, Ares), but won't work solid in many others (like snes9x, retroarch, ralibretro). If you play other emulator, please tellme to try to program it to work to you. I'll upload my splits, my layouts, my autosplitter then a Any% Haggar easy guide for new players.
I'm happy to welcome new runners to Final Fight 3, but unfortunately I have to decline your race. We just need to be clear about why. In Final Fight 3 Leaderboards we ran in Easy mode and in Expert mode, I saw you playing in normal mode. Normal mode races have a lot of enemies per section and more difficult health bar bosses than easy difficulty. Also, when you submit a race, try to highlight only the game section (like menu options choosing the difficulty, then choosing your character, and finally splitting into the last boss hit). I suggest setting your live split to start at -7 seconds and start the timer exactly when you choose your character. It works better with me. At 44:10 you entered an unnecessary room, I know you did it to get a 1-UP, but it slowed you down, so when I reschedule your run, I ignore that "wrong segment". At 50:28 you jumped a door (a breakable door) that "despawn" enemies, you just enter the room and leave. At 51:40 you jumped another door... Both doors are on Any% route (and they kill enemies, saving you time) So... Your final time is 50:41.92 Congratulations on running Final Fight 3, just fix these little things and we absolutely approve of your running. Feel free to ask any questions and I hope to get another run from you soon.
Yes Cartridgeking, we don't have a leaderboard for normal difficulty. There is no substantial change between easy and normal, nor between normal and hard. The difference is even between easy and expert with the increase of enemies per segment, damage, health bar size, combos and enemy movement speed. We only made the division between routes (any% and warpless%), difficulty (easy and expert) and characters (Guy, Haggar, Lucia and Dean), already allowing 16 different categories. Welcome and we hope to share many experiences about the game with you. If you need it, you can call and we will try to serve you as best as possible.
Dudes, I'm here to inform you that I'm now part (with the invitation of Sm_Izumi) of the moderation guys, so we need things clear to avoid having any problems here. The first thing I need everyone to understand is that no one here is against anyone, we are all in the same boat. Sometimes it can happen that one person or another takes a while to be verified (in the rules of the site it says 21 days, we will always try to do this ahead of time, I promise). We will also try to respond to direct messages as soon as possible, but we need you to understand that we are not living with speedrun.com all the time, so please be patient. The third thing that I Xtagnado will always try to do is use this post here to show you my evaluations of the runs (not technique, execution or anything like that) it's just to expose what I noticed about the run itself... In case Sm_Izumi also want to make his considerations here, I think it will be clear to everyone, avoiding problems. Other than that, thanks for trusting me to help this beautiful game... Make amazing runs, break records and be nice to each other.
I think it's too hard to play as Dean, but I almost didn't play him much. Think about it: it's hard to play as Dean... it's hard to play warpless... and it's hard to play the expert mode... So you've done the hard of the hard playing the hard character. That's "hardception"... and amazing
