In Edit Game -> Info there's a "Show empty time columns" toggle which you can set to off. This would make it so that the single category with RTA no loads and RTA would show both columns, whereas all others would only show a "Time with loads" column. This also means that moderators would have to double-check every submission to make sure that the "Time without loads" field is blank for submissions in every other category.
Just putting RTA no loads times in the time field and RTA in the comments sounds like a lot less hassle to me but there is that option.
Put a space after each hyphen and they should be properly formatted into bulletpoints.
My experience is that people who care what the rules are can find them on a leaderboard very easily with the current Game Rules/Category Rules popup. It works well. People who already don't pay attention to rules would ignore this feature as well.
Being able to push some kind of update message to people following a game would be a nice feature though. I think lots of people don't want to be notified of every forum post or guide update, but would still like to know about important things like rule changes, game updates etc. And yes discord pings exist, but lots of people also don't engage with discord much or tend to mute speedrun discords when they're not currently active in those games.
The first jump is a little awkward because if you walljump from too high up then Ori will bonk his head. What I do is jump into the wall from further away so that Ori dips a little before touching the wall, but it will take some trial and error regardless of your method. When you get a jump with good height, you want to begin torch hovering at the peak of your jump. This is as simple as just repeatedly tapping whatever your bind is for torch while holding up and left. If you get across with enough height then the final walljump up is not precise at all.
Is it intended that accounts less than 7 days old aren't just prevented from sending messages but actually can't even read their incoming messages at all?
I agree with Yote that there's no reason to attach All Wisps to a specific glitch/skip restriction. I've been running All Cells with no restrictions and it's very fun, early launch especially opens up routing and movement options a lot.
Personally I think a NMS or NMG subcategory would be a good way to combine no OoB and no early quests rules together, since NOoB would still allow early launch and NEQ would allow howl skip and willow skip.
There is the "Show empty time columns" toggle which will make the "Time with loads" and "Time without loads" only show-up for categories where runs have a submitted time for them. But anyone submitting a run to your game will always have the option to complete these fields regardless of category, so you as a moderator will have to edit some runs to make sure they remain blank where you want them to be.
When trying to add Splits files to a game I'm getting an error message reading "That is the wrong file type. It must be a .zip, .7z, .rar or .lss file.", but I'm uploading a .lss file directly taken from my livesplit.
I'd really appreciate being able to see the WR History data for any category in list form as well as a graph. Essentially, a filter that can be applied that only shows previous WRs in that category, obsolete or not.
Ability to set which Level each Individual Level category applies to in a similar way to how you can with Variables would be nice. At the moment it's very hard to get clean looking IL leaderboards if you have some categories that are only relevant for specific levels. You have to set everything as variables and ignore the category field completely.
^ Having many different copies of a variable that each need to be updated with any rule change is a major pain. Can't understate how much quality of life this change would bring.
Are you sure you don't want more segments than that? Shade cloak to the end of pantheon 5 takes ~2.5 hours. Also there's no need to set an autosplit for the final segment. The autosplitter will always split when you finish the game.
Try checking "Ordered Splits" in the autosplitter settings. What category are you running?
Very few glitches work on the switch version. You can do float but for some reason you're limited to only doing it once before having to quitout. http://discord.gg/hollowknight is the best source of information if you want to know more.
I'd like to be able to set which platform is the default for my game when people submit runs. Like you can set a specific category or patch to be the default. I can't find anything like this for platform.
Console runs have their own section in Misc. so you can see timing rules there. What category where you interested in?
