Just thought I would Give some suggestions since there is nothing here yet. Episode Mode Runs: -All Episodes (Beat Every Episode including Tutorial) -All Episodes 100% (100% every episode) Tactics Mode -Character Combo Challenges (Individual Runs for Each Character) -Character Combos 100% (Every characters combo challenge) -Missions 100% (Complete every Mission in the game)
It sucks there is no Arcade Mode in this game since that is the most common speedrun in Fighting games. If we want to create a custom Speedrun like an Arcade we could do a Survival Speedrun where the goal is getting 10 wins similar to an arcade mode. From experience as a Dragon Ball FighterZ mod the individual challenges are the most popular speedruns to do other than the shortest Arcade Mode run.
If you need any help with modding on this specific game let me know and I can help setting up all the categories and getting runs started for each.
Dont know if there are any rules against it. Im pretty sure everything is the same as ps2 version.

In terms of comparing gameplay to cutscenes is there more time spent in cutscenes than actual gameplay?
Trying him out but don't know the exact combo you guys use. Might just stick to Blue Vegeta unless I can get that combo down. Doesn't seem to save enough time for long arcade runs if I can't consistently get the combo down.
Sorry still haven't beat the story so what's the difference? Do you have to do every fight in 100% and not in Any%?
Do we really need it? Whats the point of doing the story twice in a row on a separate difficulty. At least with Arcade you will take different paths because of Difficulty but the "Full Game" Story seems a bit tedious as you will be doing the exact same thing twice but just with a harder difficulty. (Unless the Hard difficulty actually changes things that I am unaware of). We also have a whole lot of categories that haven't even been ran yet.
If anything maybe we should have 1 insane Leaderboard for Full Game 100% where you have to do as follows... Beat Story on Normal 100% Beat Story on Hard 100% Complete Battle Tutorial Complete All Combo Challenges Complete All Arcades on Normal Complete All Arcades on Hard
I record on my PS4 and if I try to stream my Internet will cut out randomly. And the max recording is 60 Minutes at once on the PS4 so for runs like Arcade Mode 100% and Story would take too long for me to record in one video or hope that my stream lasts the whole time.
Is it doing Normal and Hard mode for every Arcade in one run? Or is there anything special you have to do?

To make the Full-Game Leaderboard less crowded I think it would be a good idea to put the Difficulties into Sub-Categories for each category that contains a Normal and Hard option.
Example of this is the USF4 Page: https://www.speedrun.com/ultra_street_fighter_4 as they put Difficulties into Sub-Categories
You can put Any% Story, 100% Story, and Arcade Mode as 3 Categories with 2 Sub-Categories each (Normal and Hard) instead of there being 6 full categories clogging up all the slots on the main Full-Game Leaderboards.
Does it end on the announcer saying complete or when the Wall of Text comes up saying you have completed it?
Shouldnt you have to do the cave section so we have 2 separate Leaderboards rather than have Any% and World Peace having the same Runs on both? Also possibly making Cascade World Peace involve not doing the Dino Skip so that Leaderboard is different as well? Dont think you can change anything for Cap/Cloud/Ruin/Bowser to change those. Just seems dumb that people are uploading Any% runs and World Peace Runs even though they are the same run in those Levels
So for maps like Cap Kingdom where World Piece is any% do you just submit the same run for both categories?
Just a fun topic. Who do you hate the most when playing arcade? Who ruins your runs the most? My personal list is... Blanka-Dumb Electricity BS and he just crouches 100% of the time. Hakan-My god his command grabs are ridiculous and his Ultra takes forever. Guile-Always crouches and spams Sonic Boom or his Flip Kick BS. Rufus-Jumps around is annoying and command grab Ultra... El Fuerte/Vega/Adon-They just wont sit still, ever! Rose-I don't think I've ever not been hit by her long Command Grab Ultra...
Well who do you guys Hate to face during Arcade Speedruns?
I think there should be a second arcade category where you can not use Instakill attacks. I mean its fine in one category but the fact there is only one category and its just hoping to get an instakill off is kind of dumb.
Now that is has a full release on PS4 are the rules based on just one battle?, What do the rounds have to set to?, What modes?, etc...
Now that the MKX Categories have become vacant for awhile I was wondering if we could try to give it a little Spark by adding a new Category or 2. I was thinking Test Your Might and Test Your Luck Categories would be a nice addition to the Games Categories. (Maybe make Kotal Kahn Banned in that category so there is a more diverse Cast to Speedrun).
