On the "Streams" page, it displays streams that are over even after hours from when they're over. Edit: it's fixed.
Yes, only game capture. Other things show up immediately.
I'm afraid none of your suggestion helped to solve the issue.
In OBS Studio, whenever I launch a game, it takes OBS a few seconds before it's displayed in the preview screen/recording. This is not an issue in OBS Classic at all, as it records everything from the get-go. Audio is recorded fine in both versions.
Any idea how to fix this?
Edit: more info:
- I use game capture as source. Doesn't matter if I run the game in full screen or windowed mode.
- Window capture doesn't work at all for games. I think that this could be a workaround, but I'd rather not resort to that because I'd have to give up on the resolution I get from game capture.
- I have the latest version of OBS and I run it as administrator.
Since the game is already supposed to read files that are missing from the CD, All I did was simply to insert the missing files into the ISO.
I don't see any reason why runs with the missing music (or any other music) won't be accepted, but I'm asking just in case.
(Ignore the fact that I put the wrong music in the credits)
No, the leaderboard is for single player only.
Kid Mode: The main restriction is that you cannot skip in-game cutscenes. In addition, the lack of a dedicated swing button makes your maneuver more restricted (You have to let go of jump to swing; The dedicated swing button allows you to do quick zips to nearby walls on foot).
Easy: The best difficulty without question. Besides the damage and web consuming differences between this and harder difficulties, in "Hostage Situgation" and "Stop The Bomb", the robbers don't threat to shoot the hostages, allowing you to do some skips/OOB tricks.
Hard: Enemies can take more hits and deal more damage; Some bosses are far more aggressive (making Mysterio almost broken, for example); The "Hostage Situation" and "Stop The Bomb" difference I mentioned above.
Normal: Plays like Hard - part the damage and web differences. Therefore, it's not even a category on the leaderboard (and I doubt someone wants to seriously run this difficulty).
As for why don't Kid Mode and Hard have their own "All Comics" category: Because nobody asked for those.
Glad you asked. I thought of 3 categories in total: Any%, 100%/All Upgrades and NG+. All three are possible to do in both difficulties. The only question is whether to make Normal and Challenge modes as subcategories or should each have its own full tab.
Edit: Should Low% be a thing?
https://www.speedrun.com/usmgba DS page will become a thing when someone asks for it.
Done https://www.speedrun.com/usmgba Timing ends when the screen turns to black rather than on last hit. Don't worry, if you stopped the timer before that, I can just retime your run to fit this method.
I was planning on openning a page for the GBA versio, but I'm not sure how to rule the time (where to start and when to finish).
^In addition to what he said, FRAPS helps alot to set the the stabilize the FPS. Just make sure to choose "hide overlay" in the FPS tab.
Please allow users to hide the twitch player in the main page, or at least make it not auto-play, it's really annoying. And make those changes optional in the user settings, because some might like that for some reason.
https://discord.gg/XDKvnpa Discord server. There isn't a chennel for this game yet because no one asked yet.
The pre-order content will have advantage over non-pre-order:
- Unique costomes (from what I understand, costumes in the game have their own stats and skills).
- Early access to some gadgets.
- Skill points to unlock new things early on.
Which makes me wonder how will you handle the situation. Will it be seperated from standrad copies or will the bonus content be straight up banned?
The problem is, you can choose a specific puzzle, learn the solution and practice the inputs instead of actually trying to solve it. This is very exploitable and therefore, I don't think Sudoku should have leaderboards.
On a side note, my PB on Evil Sudoku (from websudoku . com) is 4:23, without using this^ method. Otherwise, my PB would've been under a minute.
@Chrixiam Simply put, poeple who cheat to "test mods" are wasting mods' time. And as Komrade said, they often do it to call out on said mods, a malicious intention if you ask me. But I see your point in the aspect of letting each community decide on their on how to treat these runs. Though in the end, I think each community should realize that banning cheaters is the right decision.
