I saw wondering if it's possible to checkmate black in 3 moves by getting it to play Ke7 on move 2 but after we play e3 as the first move? If yes, then you could play e3 instead of e4 to save a bit of time. I tested it a bit, and it seems that it's only possible to get it to play d4.
You need l+r to get 244 on the timer when you grab the flagpole without doing fpg.
Ok I guess the one use is flexing on worse runners lol
To sum this up, the backwards jump done in that tas is in my opinion and most people's opinions harder than a normal fast accel, as since to do fpg after that you have to do a setup, you need to do it perfectly or at most 3 subpixels close to perfect (plus releasing right in the ground is not a good setup for losing subpixels as depending on your subspeed it might lose different amounts of subpixels.). Plus since this fast accel only saves 1 frame, you need a lucky frame to be saved while walking to the castle, which I don't think many runners want to depend on. So I don't think this strat has any use.
Well, thanks. It wasn't that much of a problem since I can probably close some programs in the background. I'll just record it and show the reset in the video. But I still have a question, in fceux which is the emulator I use for speedrunning and tasing, when you are recording a movie, a little circle shows up on the bottom right of the screen, so would I still be able to submit the run with that circle in place? If not I'll just switch to another emulator which doesn't show anything and just use fceux for tasing.
I was wondering if I could submit with only a movie recording in an emulator because recording software sometimes lag my game and also because the recording software that creates the least lag for me is xbox game bar recording but that's 30 frames per second and doesn't really matter that much but I still want my recording to be 60 fps but those programs usually lag a lot. (Also if you were wondering about how I would do that i would basically record the inputs on the emulator im using and when i get a time i want to submit i run the input file back and record it. (Also would I be able to submit sub 5 minute runs of I don't stream?))
