verifiers will auto verify runs if they feel that a run can not be cheated to clean up the ever-growing queue.
In case you are wondering, something like this is acceotable: https://www.speedrun.com/mc/run/zxd7dxgy
If u join the discord, there r multiple tutorial links that also show you the perfect way to one cycle, u can watch those as well. Discord link is in one of the src tabs btw
die% is a category on !findseed the map I'll link it here https://www.speedrun.com/findseed/Die_1.3
1.16 has different seeds than 1.0-1.15 and obviously you can't do that bc it's a different version. the purpose of having a category split is because there is a specific purpose of playing in that version. As an over-exaggerated example, why don't I play on 1.16 and submit to 1.9-1.15, I just won't trade with piglins at all.
well i mean.... 40fps is still playable.... and well, mods will know if it's legit or not.
20-minute recording and 15 minutes seem like ur exaggerating because 5-minute lag shouldn't last that long?
Of course, if u have a run that is purely 2 frames per second, then that's ur recording software's mistake and not the actual game. As for improving performance, there's not much u could do except decreasing ur recording software's resolution as well as set all of Minecraft's settings to the lowest possible besides, of course, render distance.
OBS suggestions: 540p 4-5k bitrate 25fps
close all other unused tabs when playing Minecraft
FYI: a GPU only affects the visual graphics and not the actual computer performance.
First of all, i5 is too generic since it is a brand series and not a specific model. Just wondering is it your PC that is 'roaring' or ur fans that are roaring bc that makes a major difference. Also, Yoopicul said it, but you should most likely be upgrading your cpu, but make sure that your cooling system is able to handle the upgrade as well bc not sure if your computer may be overheating?
@OhMySquash In case u didn't know that was a joke... ily mango
@rewan no in 1.8 pearls are not given as a trade, but rather eyes of ender
YEP that is definitely NOT how rng works, but while we're at it, let's explain why it's a 1/3 chance cuz why not. At that level, the cleric has 3 possible trades to give, pearls, bottles, and green things (idk what it is BibleThump ). So the cleric chooses 2 of the 3 objects listed and has 3 total combinations. Now in each of those combinations, there is a 1/3 probability that u won't get pearls because only 1 of the 3 combinations will not have pearls in their trades. So it is a 1/3 probability that u won't get pearls from trades.
Ahem, what u mentioned about 'resetting' rng is only something to boost ur confidence because that is not how rng works. If u 'reset' ur luck, it doesn't change the basic factor that it's a 1/3.
I'm pretty sure the unluckiest 1/3 dude person guy is on 34/58 1/3's and the highest streak by another person is 9 1/3's in a row.
not a good idea to change it in the first place because apparently, some people can't see anything after switching from gamma 5 to gamma 1. So the answer would be to not change it at all and get better at seeing in the dark. Also, I highly recommend u do what u can to get a 'proper' discord account (idk what a claimed discord account is), and join the discord. No one will give you immediate updates on forums so it would really be best to do so.
First of all, I would delete some of the useless junk on your computer as 35/465 GB is quite little.
To answer your question... You Can't.
Choosing which seeds to run on 1.16 is quite crucial depending on which strategy you are using, however, there are certain components to a seed that tells you which one to reset right away. In RSG, it is important to reset as opposed to wasting time on an unrunnable seed, thus increasing the chances of getting a good run
In old 1.16 strategies, you would usually want to run seeds with villages off spawn and desert/savanna seeds. This is because you either obtain a village (off spawn) or the biomes make it easier to search (deserts r perfect to find villages since there r no trees blocking the way).
When entering into the nether, especially for new players, I would 100% learn the nether regions as they can help you navigate through the nether. I do not have a video or resource linked to that, but if you ask around in the discord, someone will surely explain it in detail. Nether regions basically help you find structures such as bastions and nether fortresses which will obviously aid you in your run and allow for fewer resets.
In newer strategies which I can not go into detail about, but there are 1.16 pirate strats which are viable if you spawn next to an ocean (again, I'm not the man to ask or explain in detail), as well as villageless strats which is basically running 1.16 without a village.
The biggest thing to look for is when to reset and this can literally be done straight from spawn. For example, taiga and mountain biomes are usually an automatic reset since they are very slow to travel across and provide little visibility.
TL;DR
- learn nether regions
- learn when to reset a run
- learn multiple 1.16 strategies so you don't have to seed search more often
To answer your question one more time: You can't get a good run without a good seed, and unfortunately, for beginner speedrunners, it is MUCH harder to get a good run with a decent seed. Therefore, ur chances of obtaining a good run are with resetting.
If anything here I mentioned about 1.16 is wrong pls correct me, I'm a 1.14 runner :D
