Hello everyone,
So, I've had an interest in speedrunning for years, but I've never actually attempted one before.
I am a 10+ year veteran of the PolMac series, I'm undefeated in online matches; and I have an airtight strategy for winning.
I've noticed that the "Republican Campaign" and the "Democrat Campaign" categories are empty! For my first serious speedrun attempts, I'm going to be running these categories.
Quick question- When I pull up PolMac 2016 in LiveSplit, the category that comes up for Dem/Rep campaign is called "Any% Custom Candidates" with subcategories "Republican Campaign 100%" and "Democrat Campaign 100%".
So obviously, this means that the only category for running the campaign includes custom candidates, correct? I just want to be sure before I get started, because I have an optimized custom candidate for each party that I could use, as well as preferred stock characters if the custom candidate would disqualify me.
Like I said, I'm very new to this whole thing. I have screencap software installed to record my speedruns, as well as livesplit for timing.
Is there anything else I should be made aware of, or does it sound like I'm all ready to get started with posting a time to these 2 empty categories?
Thanks, I'm excited to get started.
