I'm not sure if there's a better place for me to type this message.
I haven't done aborted Geno yet but there's a chance it's faster for neutral glitchless
If anyone knows whether this is true or not please reply here.
For example: You go to a stable. You register a horse. You are able to see the horses you had from the first game, and use them in TOTK. Basically my question is "are you allowed to use your horses from Botw?"
About a year ago, a hidden two player debug mode was discovered for Super punch out that can be accessed via holding down Y and R on a second controller as the title screen plays, then pressing A or + to continue to a hidden menu. Not only does this allow you to access every fight before making any progress, but a two player mode can be accessed by holding down Y and B on a second controller upon selecting a fight, all the way until the fight starts. In short, it would be nice if there was a category based on it, since it can be done on the SNES or on the Nintendo Switch Online Special. The category could involve the IGT winning of little Mac on each fight, or for the second player on each fight. Just an idea, since this game only has 2 categories. I would be willing to run this category, of course.
Metroid fusion has officially been released on the switch virtual console. I did a playthrough of it, and I'm planning on doing runs on the switch virtual console, but obviously, Id need it to get added to the platforms section. The new platform shows potential for speed running as well, because of easier controls, allowing for better Shine Sparking, and the reliable rewind feature (though there may have to be rules about the use of that). Anyway, is there any way it can get added?
Metroid prime remastered may or may not be out right now, but I wonder what the community plans to do with it. Will it get its own separate leaderboard, or will there be a new category for the remastered version?
I want to get into running this game, but I have a problem. I am practicing punch card glitches, and I am getting good at skipping cutscenes, but I am not able to perform a successful wrong warp. Every time I wrong warp, I softlock. So basically, my question is how to not softlock while wrong warping.
The runs for this game are very long, and I want to get into running this game. I don't want to commit to over 8 consecutave hours of gameplay (and quite frankly, I don't have the time) What if there could be a timing rule where you are allowed to pause the timer after exiting a level, after the saving message goes away? As long as you don't move off of that spot of the map, you would still be getting the same end time, so it should be allowed. You get a 24 hr break. You don't have to use all of it, or any of it, and using more than 24 hrs adds onto the final time.
What if a 2 player category was added for Bowser's fury? My sister and I are doing runs of it, and our best time is 51:44 (slow, but we're working on it) I didn't record it, but I could record future runs. You have to beat the game while collecting every required shine (except the first one) while in 2 player mode. For reloads, you have to switch into 2 player mode before collecting the next shine.
I thought of a cool new category where you have to get the stars from the game's bosses not counting the 3 Bowsers (which you fight anyway) glitches are allowed, so you can finish the game after beating all the bosses.
Rules: You must obtain these ten stars
BoBomb at the Summit (BoBomb Battlefield)
Chip of Whomp's Block (Whomp's Fortrace)
Going on a ghost hunt Ride Big Boo's carousel Big Boo's Balcony (Big Boo's Haunt)
Stand Tall on the Four Pillars (Shifting Sand Land)
Boil the Big Bully Bully the Bullies (Lethal Lava Land)
Chill With the Bully (Snowman's Land)
Make Wiggler Squirm (Tiny Huge Island)
Then beat the game. You may have to Collect additional stars to unlock certain levels, making the category all the more interesting. That's my suggestion.
