part three of this saga, act three nonsense:

West of Emi's Apartment, before Firefly Drone

With regards to the cop on the vertical climb (and all enemies that shoot guns at Emi), a full height jump after they fire the first shot will successfully dodge it, given sufficient distance for time to move. The second shot is trickier, since you're now in the air, move away from the enemy if at all possible, you will then land before the third shot, which you can then jump over. Watch out for a tackle immediately afterwards.

With the final cop in-between the two lasers, I think there might be something with jumping the three shots and then dropping down to dodge a tackle (as I attempted before dying like a chump)

The long room with the two cops east of Syzygy City // Central Overpass Terminal is difficult to pull off, you follow the first cop until he gets into the middle, next to his buddy, wait for the far cop to turn around first, and then jump over the close one as they're turning around, you can then make a run for the room transition, but be careful of the second guard's shots once he spots you, though if you get shot after entering the transition you will respawn on the next screen and not the one with the two cops (it seems to me whether you take damage or not is up to the timing of when specifically you are hit: before the fade-out starts for damage, and after the fade-out has begun for no damage).

When Emi starts falling from a crawl state, above an electrified wall, she will infrequently get zapped. This is relevant in two places through the any% route: after Black Widow/First War, and after TriShot.exe

Seven times in thirty "trishot.exe exits" I get zapped by the electrified wall. My current theory is the hurtbox of the wall changes randomly (or pseudo-randomly in a pattern), if the hurtbox is extended upwards, Emi will be damaged two frames after entering the falling animation out of the crawling state. In attempting to make it more consistent, I have found that waiting for both guards to "call it in" gives you the opening you need to progress safely:

resetting the room to an entrance where there's a loading screen, and then intentionally going past the loading zone (holding left after the guard KOs Emi, in this example) puts Emi out of bounds and in a weird glitched state, treating everything out of bounds as "touching a wall" untill she reaches the lowest floor where she then enters a glitched aerial state (one wings, one dash, then you get nothing)

Being fully out of bounds puts Emi into a very glitched state, where you're treated as both in the air and up against a wall, but Jupi and I have only labbed it for one room, I'll have to get a video of it later tonight or tomorrow morning.

Black Widow with missiles only is do-able but difficult, definitely slower; the real killer was Missile Commander, unless you are Jupi, I don't think you can do MC with only missiles and drones, and going back to get Zorlon Shot bricked that save, basically setting all the doors to their pre-Burning Sentinel state

It doesn't actually apply the Ion Shield effect when doing this glitch. That was because I was playing a mini-game that gives you IonBarrier.exe.

Oh, well don't I feel silly for missing that, though I'm glad to see that it also affects IonBarrier.exe in your other example.

Black Widow is a much more difficult fight without Zorlon Shot, but it can be done with only missiles, granted having to give up the fife before the fight is 100% mandatory

second, using a sync station "un-fifes" Emi, so perhaps we can get Trions at that stage before re-enabling fife?

EDIT: early nibble skips the flag for unlocking the map, though i suppose one could just go there later?

EDIT 2: un-fife-ing on a save or a void-out restores state to normal with no repercussions, can collect trions/health and re-fife with ease

It also appears to apply the Ion Shield effect while you're in the Ion Zone, how does that affect the Qotile's swirl attacks?

also, have you tried this with any other zeta-class biohacks?
