Well there could be all 10 coins except for final final
The vanilla All Advancement discord has seen multiple posts of completed BaC AA runs, I'm not sure how well the videos of those runs have been preserved and could be submitted.
The times I can find are:

I heard you can skip past world 4 or 5 but you can't unlock the final Bowser stage without them, not sure if that's true
We used to have that but removed it back when playing from a new profile still gave you world keys. Maybe we should add it back.
One essential rule that we wouldn't be able to go without would be to require all plants to be Lv.1, except for the Peashooter which would be allowed to be Lv.2.
It's a restriction on what you're allowed to do during the run; however, no viable routes in the Any% category are affected by this. So it only really matters for longer categories like All Dungeons or All Shrines, where dragon parts might be used for cooking.
Thanks, got the CPS display to work https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/959061467703947324/1123556120489898074/Screenshot_1528.png?width=1087&height=612
Hi. I'm sadly unable to provide sound or view of my mouse because I'm unable to record video or audio from the real world. I wanted to ask if I could still perform runs of categories with less competition (e.g. 1HC v2.0) under the following restrictions:
- Submitted as "Fast Click"
- Never obtains the "Uncanny Clicker" achievement (which I'd prove at the end)
- Clicking pattern being obviously not autoclicker Asking because even if I got say like a 12 hour time it might still be considered a "top time" just because there's so little competition there. Thanks for reading
You need a count of 900 koroks (IST) and then to spend menuing time buying inventory upgrades. Doesn't sound like an interesting category cause it's like Plateau + IST + downtime, isn't it?
Sadly I don't think there's a good way to do that in sr.c, you'd either have to
a) create separate pages for the expansions (which would require new "games" to be approved and would be even more unwieldy), b) lump the missions together into a "category" with "subcategories" (which would be even more unwieldy and would keep the runs from appearing on the overview), c) use names like "mission 1" through "mission 16" and stack the original/expansion/legends missions onto the same rows (which would make their names disappear on the overview), or d) move the level leaderboard to a google sheet (which seems like overkill, the board is nowhere near as bad as it was in super mario 64)
If you want something that feels like normal PvZ levels but don't have time for Any%, try the No Random Seeds minigames or the Normal Survivals. You can even do them Shopless if you prefer not to use Imitator.
I don't think there's any point in having half of a run without a unique objective at the end
It's not like there can only ever be one Low% category on the board for any given game. In Plants vs. Zombies for example we added Shopless, No Sun Plants, and 3 Seed Slots from what I remember
Low% is such a wide class of potential categories (minimum score, coins, captures, A presses, companions, items, pauses etc.) - minimum items does sound interesting if you can post a finished run as a demonstration and to pioneer interest in the category
- Make the ruleset unambiguous and clarify all details.
- Run the category.
- Suggest the category through a form that should be linked in a pinned thread. This here is not the place for category suggestions. Good luck.
Absolutely, that's the big reason why pvp balloon world is never happening as a speedrun.
There used to be talk about allowing the singleplayer/introduction balloons for coin farming, but that was also decided against because of worries that online support might vanish and pull the feature down with it (since internet access is required even for that)
This is known, allowed, consistent, and afaik not useful for any of the stars.
Agreed with Volantis. There is a pretty developed definition that works for pretty much all romhacks, and it could be used to define 70 star as well
A weird name when having 4 files with 120 stars each can be achieved just by copying them in the menu, while other indicators of 100% such as coin scores, caps, and cannons are ignored.
4x120 is just too repetitive and not inherent enough to gain any traction as a category. All stars, coins, caps, and cannons on the other hand might just pass as "100%".
@TheGreatestRoman The point of 70 star is to beat the game after unlocking the final barrier, which can be achieved by either specifying that said final barrier must be respected, or by banning the glitch to skip it across the entire run. There's not necessarily a right or wrong to this, the SM64 community just decided to go for the latter. If you look at different communities, for example SM64 romhacks, they might handle it differently.
