OK, nice. :) I did some solo runs of Fire Red with a level 62 Butterfree and a level 60 Beedrill. Currently doing another with a Pikachu, but will get into speedrunning it when I get the chance. And I'm working a route for Sapphire too.

Has anyone ever tried using different starters to the norm in Pokemon speedruns? I know that there are staples such as Squirtle and Mudkip, but what about others that would spice things up? I'm just asking because I'm currently doing a mono Grass run of Gold and thought of maybe a run of Fire Red with Bulbasaur?

I like to try it out for a challenge and I got bored. Didn't even know speedrunning existed until I heard of Werster though. And after watching videos I just thought "Why not try it myself" and started to play for speed and practising techniques recently. The next step is streaming or uploading videos of course.

Basically, I see a potential challenge and want to try it. Eternal curiosity here.

I was thinking of doing Resident Evil REmake on the Gamecube, and also New Super Mario Bros (both any% and All Castles). I did a run of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets today as well, but didn't catch a video of it sadly. I'll also try and do some of the Sonic Mega Collection and the Sonic Adventure games I've got.
