1-3 and 4-1 were bad(in terms of deaths), but it's a good record! Those are the only ones that needed to be better. Good run!
Sub .200 ms is definitely possible, but I think the cap would be .050-.180 ms. Still dominating the assist category, though!
Man, you're playing limbo with 1-2 Assist. A 00.030 second improvement coming from you means that we're coming up on the fastest possible time here.
During the act 5 boss, if you time it just right, the boss will send a second Projectile at you just as he gets hit and then you can hit him instantly again. Not sure if this saves time, because I've never timed it. Hope it helps! Also, what do you use to count frames?
Man, assist has so much potential! I hope you can optimize even further than you have at this point for the entire game, because that would be really awesome. If you don't, I'll still be excited for what you decide to do next.
I never really thought about timing by the first input, but that actually sounds like a really good idea.
It seems to me that people are starting to optimize the Infinite Descent category, which is always nice to see! I wonder what's next in terms of fastest possible time.
I always felt like the Assisstance/Butterfly had no attention from speedrunners, but it makes sense if you don't have the best hand eye coordination. I do sincerely hope that you try to optimize the category.
Are there going to be more run categories? There are achievments in the game, as well as the bonus challenges on the roof.
16 seconds is a fine improvement for a run! A sub-6 is pretty hard, and a sub-5 moreso. Gl on the next one and I hope you break the 6 minute barrier soon!
