I actually thought that to myself when i originally watched Cryptones WR video. It looked ever so slightly faster but i never really looked into it or questioned it.

It'd be nice to actually speak to him but its unlikely that hes still active on speedrun.com since he set that WR 4 years ago.

I guess I'll stick to what Cryptones has done with the timer, but id also prefer if it stopped at the final dialogue choice, but never mind!

So I wanted to start speedrunning Monkey Island games because i love them so much and figured id start at the beginning, but only one run has been submitted and i was just a bit uncertain of the rules that i should be following to compete for the best times etc.

At what point do i stop the timer? (Just as i beat LeChuck? when the cutscene begins?) Am I allowed to speed up the subtitles with the ScummVM settings?

Im fairly new to the whole speedrunning scene so i apologise if im asking stupid questions! Go easy on me, I need an idiots guide haha!
