This game is a middleware title around the times of Resident Evil's popularity, so it's really made as a alternative to Resident Evil if you'd prefer a game without the zombies that's survival horror (like I do, I don't like zombies that much) or a vampire styled game, which there isn't that many vampire games to choose from, especially not survival horror types. It works in that convention, and I don't think it's made to be taken that seriously, it's campy and stereotypical for survival horror, but it works as a vampire styled Resident Evil, like Dino Crisis which is Resident Evil with dinosaurs, or Soul Of The Samurai, a Resident Evil with Samurai (before Onimusha, though Onimusha can be included in that too).
Either way, it's right up into Halloween right now, getting to October so, it's the best time to do something like this. I got a set of streams for Doom planned at this point, and some other Middleware games (notice the pattern here, I'm into Middleware games, which is why I run this game, I used to be one of these 90s kids that rented games all the time, which is how I know about many Middleware titles) with horror theme, and that's it. In any case though, talking about a run itself, like I said I played it safe, so I didn't attempt any skips, just exploits. I did die a couple of times, silly deaths because I was busy doing several things at that time period, but whatever, I think this is one of these games you'd go back to if you're nostalgic about survival horror's early days and want something different.
Congratulations mate, did you use glitches? I don't usually like to use glitches, but I try to use exploits a lot in games when I run them... that's why my timing for runs is slower than most, because I go for safer runs than faster through bugged programming skips (plus I speedrun for the fun of it, not really for the world record, it's nice to have one, but I just feel like helping introduce games to the community most often).
Right now I'm in a Dark Souls craze. Got the 2nd one and 3rd one on my PC, whenever I get time I play these, still waiting for more info on Marvel VS Capcom infinite to see if I'm getting that.
Alright man, focus on the run and then we go from there, welcome to Countdown Vampires.
A quick update: disregard the above, I went ahead and added the category. I figured it would broaden the game's potential audience, so you can run it on Easy Any% and then I accept the run.

Thank you.
Hello clix_gaming.
I added it into the normal category, but as soon as there is a consensus into adding a easy mode category, I'm taking that run off of the normal and putting it on easy. So on my end, I'd have no problems accepting easy mode as a category, but it depends on the other mod, Speeady.
If more people desire the category, I do think it would make perfect sense to add it, Countdown Vampires seems to be just establishing it's community right now, and it wouldn't be that unnatural adding a extra category. Again, it's fine on my end, but we need some democratic consensus here as far as I'm thinking, if Speeady agrees then I take the world record run I did off of normal, put it on the easy category and broaden the types of runs possible.
Thank you.

Hi Mondester.
I'd be fine setting up the game in here, it's fine to help with the community. The game is obscure because of a limited release, when it got released it came around the same time as God Of War Chains Of Olympus, so it got very obscure quick since GoW was a more popular title at the time + regional release only.
As far as what the game entails, it's like any Tenchu title just with difficulty modes like easy and normal, and it's got multiple characters and all the typical PS2 design Tenchu levels... it's like a best of compilation of Tenchu titles, just in the PSP.
Anyway here is a link for the run itself, I put it as not verified since the game hasn't been added yet.
Also couldn't message you since I didn't find a way to contact you directly, my YouTube is private for messages and comments, if you want to talk to me directly you can try my Twitter:
Thanks (also sorry for the delay, thought no one had a interest for this title)!
Hi folks.
Wondering if the website could add the PSP version of Tenchu called "Tenchu Time Of The Assassins/Tenchu Shinobi Taizen"?
Did a run of it recently, it's not perfect and still needs some work (as in, got lost a couple times here and there during the game), but I'd like to submit it and the game isn't in the website yet. Personally, it's one of my favorite Tenchu titles alongside Wrath Of Heaven.
So any possibility of adding the game up? Or is it out of question? My run was done through PPSSPP by the way, and it worked fine on my machine.
Thanks.
