This thread is about getting sub 16

We don’t have many options here: C1 is optimized C2 is semi-luck for Glitchless but other than that it’s optimized C3 is burning in flames in our minds; we should take a break from C3 C4: kind of odd in structure so we cant really skip a lot unless we do some source engine stuff and walk on seams C5: same as c4 C6: w a t e r is horrid Finale Lobby and The End: Optimized

We can still save time in some chapters

C1: We can go for this warp that saves a few seconds. (ToopFlash's 19:02) C3: We can arrive with an already dying Prince. Saves a lot of time then going for the quick-kill (still haven't found reliable methods for it) C4: We have to arrive with the best possible cycle where you only have to wait once. This also saves a few seconds. The worst possible cycle is waiting three times so you want to avoid that. C5: We have to skip the big wall (I did that in my 17:36). Other then that C5 is pretty much optimized. C6: We have to clip inside the wall and carefully navigate ourselves to Room 3 as fast as possible. We then have to skip some platforms that save about 0.5 seconds. There's two of them so it'll save roughly a second. Finale: We have to reset during the cutscene, carefully navigate ourselves to push the button and then get on to the second platform. Once we did that, Finale is fully optimized.

If we manage to get all these perfectly, we can just barely get a time of 15:xx. But like I said, I quit Glitched. However, I will still find timesaves for the current runners.

The “seams” i was talking about were to walk in the wall and go around skipping any need for a cycle

sub 16 with just a better chapter 6 clip is possible for me. I got a 17:10 estimated time out of chapter 3 (with no gold splits) but fucked it up at chapter 5 from messing up a jump and chapter 6 by getting an unlucky clip killing the run. I could get a low chapter 6 time easily if I get a good clip, and sub 17 would be possible easily. But still my gold splits still stand at 16:59. So we'll see soon.
