THE BELOW TEXT IN ITALICS IS MY ORIGINAL POST. TL;DR: The bomb barrel despawned, and when I came back to check it later, it was there. I thought I had wrong-warped past it, but upon further review I was mistaken. I apologize if any of this was misleading or anything, I just thought I found something and wanted to share it.
Just wanted to share this. I played through this casually recently, and on Stage 4 I exited floor 5 through a door. I realized that I missed part of it (which held a bomb) and re-entered the door I exited, and I ended up a door left of that door on the other screen.
16:40 or so in the above vod is when that happens.
Not sure if this can help save time in the future but wanted to document it now.
Currently, I'm TASing this game and I need to check this wrong warp more as I don't understand exactly what happened.
Same here. I was watching the video several times and still don't really understand where the warp took place. @JSR_ may be you could explain a little more where the warp is ? Thanks in advance :)
OK, I was incorrect, the glitch wasn't a wrong warp like I thought. The bomb did not spawn. After I finished running through the floor, I exited the 3rd door (I mistakenly thought it was the 2nd one) and then re-entered. I thought I re-entered the 3rd door and skipped a section.
When I ended up missing a barrel, I re-entered the door right of the elevator, which IS the 2nd door, and ran right; the missing barrel was there. That's why I thought perhaps I accidentally went out the wrong door, and also why I thought I wrong-warped. I was mistaken.
That said, the barrel was not there the first time, and WAS there the second. If this thread can be edited so that it isn't misleading to other runners, that would be spectacular, or we can delete the thread.
I apologize for false info. I was so confused that I THOUGHT I wrong-warped lol. But that barrel definitely did glitch, or else I have no clue what happened!
