what category of sm64 is the easiest

16 is one of the easiest to start off with in my opinion. the only hard things for a beginner is mips clip and bljs but if you practice them enough im sure you'd get a good time

there are a lot of good tutorials on youtube, using the keywords "consistent blj tutorial" or "beginner 16 star tutorial" will give you some pretty good learning tools, especially from time travel penguin and tristian.

recommended beginner categories are 16 and 70. 16 is the easiest to get into, but 70 star has no bljs if you dont like bljs. definitely join the discord and check out the resources tab for a ton of good info

Well, in respect of just go to run it without any profesionality, 70 stars just doesnt need any glitch to be runned in a beginner route, so that one, or 120 stars too
