Welcome to the Rebellion Run. A run where you go through all 5 Rebellion Missions. Here is my new route proposal. (I'll record a run of it asap))
I was wondering if a new run category could be added to add diversity to the Wings of Liberty Campaign.
This new run could be completed in approximately 00:35:00 to 0:50:00 of IGT. The Normal+ Any% run would have the goal of completing the Secret Mission "Piercing The Shroud". Once you reach the ship with Raynor at the end of the level, the run is complete.
The route would include the following missions (I added estimated times in IGT)
- The Great Train Robbery (20:00)
- Cutthroat (1:25 - 2:00)
- Engine of Destruction (6:50 - 8:00)
- Media Blitz (5:00 - 8:00) - I am most unsure of this one Since you have to get the hidden objective in order to move on in the run.
- Piercing the Shroud (5:45 - 6:30)
An idea for a category name is "Rebellion Run" or "Rebel Missions" since it's the Rebellion Story Line that doesn't get played in full runs.

It was brought to my attention that my estimates could be off by a few minutes for a mission marathon run like this. The IGT estimate is probably closer to 1:25:00 - 1:45:00. The Category could have more competitive integrity if the Base Difficulty is set to Normal. Only a base, since Train Robbery is faster in Brutal mode. Not sure if any of the other missions could be faster in more difficult modes yet!
So what about if we had a catagory that was from a completed savegame where you play all missions that are not auto scrollers eg no Zero Hour. The Great Train Robbery. In Utter Darkness. All In. etc
We dont have to start with the first 3 missions for this run. It could be any 3 missions then the train robbery through piercing the shroud!
That would cut the run down by about 25-35 minutes. Then it would be a nice mid-sized run to bridge the gap between solo mission runs and full campaign runs!
the run was getting too complicated with edits, so I simplified it to just being the Rebellion Missions.
well unpaid demo of wol was 3 mar sara missions and evacuation/smash&grab 5 in total mb thats better
