I don't think I'd have it any other way.

Back in October, I was purging the thought of coming back to this from my mind, and I suppose it all makes sense to me now.

This game was one of the things that started this decade. My decade. And despite the many struggles, despite the literal screwing, despite despair...I got to learn - and enjoy - a hell of a lot, and I've finally made it to the end. If this truly ends up being my very last full game run, having the honor of it being with a game that I have only loved more and more the more I played it is definitely the way I'd like to go out.

I am now at peace once more, and in the end, I got here by my own terms and did what I needed to do. This one run symbolizes a major milestone, but not just because I can say I've now held the Sonic 4 trilogy all at once - nay, this is a representation of who I am, who I've become, and the journey so far.

If fate allows it, I may full-game run again, but for now, it's time to return to my own roots.
