there are two ways that a run starts (immediate and not immediate)

an immediate run is when an input is placed before the game loads causing the car to start immediately once it does

an immediate run starts at usually 0.2s of what the in game timer claims, this would clear up confusion on runs that start immediately and turn their cameras

an not immediate run would be asked to not turn their camera at the start for at least around a third of a second then turn

I changed my opinion, the current timing is good, I don't see where you would get confused from moving the camera in the beginning, how I time my runs is that the start frame is the first frame that the "Spacebar" GUI shows up on the screen for the first level.

Also adding an in-game timer for IL runs would be amazing and your Death% category would be a fun addition.

I haven't been mod for months, but I do have a great understanding of timing, all I want is the speedrun of this game to grow and to be more fun, for example, more categories and tips for people that just started.

More mods around the world would allow for quicker verifications at multiple times. I am located a bit from both Canada and the USA (my denmark tag isn't my location lol) so I might qualify? France is 6 hours ahead from Washington so I would suggest Bruher as a mod.
